The Eaton 9PX1000IRT2U UPS offers advanced protection for small and medium-sized data centres, computer rooms and infrastructure. The Eaton 9PX1000IRT2U is the first double conversion UPS in its class to provide a unit power factor (VA=W).

- Energy Star certified, the 9PX offers maximum energy efficiency with minimal power and cooling costs.
- On-Line Double Conversion topology, the 9PX UPS continuously monitors power conditions and regulates voltage and frequency.
- Convertible Tower or Rack installation format, the 9PX is the smallest solution: only 2U
Flexibility of use:
- The uniquegraphical LCD display clearly shows UPS status and power data.
- It can measure power consumption down to output group level and allows monitoring of kWh values via its display or Eaton Intelligent Power software.
- Load segment control (on the output sockets) ensures that non-essential equipment is shut down first, maximising the life of critical equipment.
- The 9PX has serial and USB connectors, as well as a slot for a communication card (optional except on Netpack models where it is automatically included).
Availability and Flexibility:
- The internal bypass ensures continuity of service in the event of a device failure.
- Longer battery life: Eaton ABM is based on a three-phase charging technique that extends the battery life by up to 50%.
- Up to 4 hot swappable battery modules can be added for extended battery life.
