The Eaton 9PX UPS offers energy-efficient power protection for small and medium-sized data centres, IT rooms, and infrastructure. For IT and building managers concerned about rising energy expenses, the 9PX is the ideal UPS. It provides double-conversion protection while consuming 40% less energy than a standard UPS.

Compared to any other UPS in its class, the 9PX has a power factor of 0.9, delivering 28% more power. It provides more power to servers than other UPSs with comparable VA ratings and lower power factors of the same capacity. In terms of energy and cooling savings, the 9PX is Energy Star rated.

The UPS status and measurements may be clearly seen on a single screen thanks to the graphical LCD display. Additional setup options are available as well. 9PX has the capability to track energy usage down to the individual outlets in a managed outlet group. Eaton's Intelligent PowerTM Software or the LCD display can be used to keep track of kWh values. In order to make the battery last longer, load segment control makes sure that non-essential equipment is turned off first.

Serial and USB ports are included on the 9PX, and an additional slot is available for an optional communication card. Intelligent Power Software from Eaton is compatible with a wide range of major virtualization and cloud orchestration platforms.
